Select 'get' or 'install' depending on your device.
You will be then prompted to sign up:
Confirm your school by entering it's unique code.
You will then be prompted to enter your child's details.
If you are registering more than one child, just select the back button and select 'Add Account'.

We recommend placing all your child’s meal orders for the 4-week period as soon as you receive the app notification — it helps us plan ahead and ensures your child gets the meals they love. But don’t worry — you’re not locked in!
You can place, cancel, or amend orders in the app up to 10 days before delivery.
When the order window first opens, there’s a 5-day lead time for the first week only. After that, it reverts to the standard 10-day lead time.
Need to make a last-minute change? Contact our office — we can help with updates up to 2 days before delivery (excluding weekends).
We work on a lead time to give our local suppliers time to source the freshest, highest-quality ingredients.
Select your child's account and then select 'Place Order'
You will see a selection of dates, click into the date you want to start ordering from and then click through to the menu.
Select your chosen dish for that particular day and add to basket.
Tap the basket button at the bottom of the screen and select 'Place Order'.
Next, select 'Order Next Day' to move onto the following day.
A Red tab indicates that no lunch can be ordered for this date (school closure etc.)
A Green tab indicates that you haven't placed an order for this date yet.
A Yellow Tick indicates that lunch has been ordered for this date.

You can place, amend, cancel, or add orders up to 10 days before delivery directly in the app.
We recommend placing orders for 4 weeks at a time — that way, you can set it and forget it until next month! It’s the easiest way to make sure your child’s meals are sorted and you don’t miss a deadline.
Need to make a last-minute change within the 10 day lead time? Just contact our office — we can accommodate amendments up to 2 days before delivery (weekends excluded).
Don't worry! Just open the app and tap the date of the order you'd like to update.

We can accommodate amendments up to 48 hours before delivery (excluding weekends).
Nutritional information is available on the app, just tap the meal icon and the information will appear at the bottom of your screen.
We do our best to make sure all nutritional info is accurate, but keep in mind that our meals are hand-portioned, so sizes might vary a little. These small differences won’t affect the overall quality of the meal.

Not to worry! Allergen's are highlighted on every dish on the app.
When setting up your child's profile, you have the option to turn on allergen tags - If an allergen tag is selected, any items containing the allergen ingredient will be restricted from being added to the basket.
We take food allergies and dietary needs seriously — allergen info is clearly labelled, and we follow strict procedures to avoid cross-contamination, but please note that meals are prepared in a shared kitchen.

(NGCI = Non-Gluten Containing Ingredients)
As announced by the Minister for Social Protection, the ‘weekly treat option’ — foods high in saturated fat, sugar, and salt — must be removed from school meal menus starting with the 2025/2026 academic year.
This change follows the updated guidance in the Nutritional Standards for School Meals.
To stay compliant, we’ve adjusted some of our offerings to ensure they fall within the recommended nutritional limits — while still keeping meals tasty and enjoyable for children.

For now, you can select any teacher from your child's school.
Once the account is set up, and you are on the home page, select the 'Profile' button on the bottom left-hand side of the screen.
From here tap on the teacher's name/class and you will see a dropdown menu with a list of teachers and classes.
Select the correct teacher and save.
No problem! Just reinstall the app and follow the steps to start the sign-up process again.
If you opted out last term, please email us at admin@lunches4school.ie to let us know your child is re-joining.
It’s also important to inform your child’s school so they’re aware of the update.
